Young Scotland’s Got Talent (YSGT) was set up in 2010 to lobby for better employment support for people with learning disabilities and individuals on the autistic spectrum who want to work. Since then we have delivered over 20 events throughout Scotland. On 29 July we delivered our first online YSGT to honour young people with additional needs who have bee working on the frontline throughout lockdown. We will be featuring throughout the week some of the highlights from the event.

The Future of No Labels No Walls
Welcome to participate in discussing co-design, co-creating and co-development in culture and wellbeing. Dramalogen and Kukunori have a far-reaching collaboration and among other things, earlier this year we have participated in weekly Action Mondays on zoom with people from all over the world who will participate in the digital festival No labels no Walls 2020.
Dramalogen is a Culture House from Halmstad Sweden and is a unique combination of art, culture and action supporting inviduals with mental health challenges, disability and refugees. The discussion gathers ideas for EU Erasmus+ mobility happening in 2021 and leading to the next No Labels festival in September 2021.

Rachelle Rhienne is a singer, songwriter, pianist and recording artist from a small village near Loch Lomond in Scotland. Rachelle pens her own original music and also collaborates with UK, US and international producers to write big powerful ballads and uptempo, catchy Pop tracks. She is heavily influenced by Soul and RnB music and incorporates this style into her music. She has caught the interest of producers and labels in LA, London, Sweden, Spain and Germany and recently flew out to LA to meet top producer Jud Friedman (Whitney Houston.) She has worked with Kylie Minogue's producers in London and Liam Payne's producer on her single "M2M" and "Contigo." Rachelle has plans to release new music in 2020 and will be focusing on continuing to build her fanbase and plan future tours.

How Citizenship Can Change the World - Dr Simon Duffy, the author of the Keys to Citizenship will talk about how social, political and environmental change depends upon people becoming true citizens. He will explain what citizenship means and why it is essential for protecting our diversity and freedom. He will propose that unless we take the idea seriously we will not be able to overcome the big problems ahead of us. Citizenship means power to the people - but also people taking power seriously.

Music Broth - Making Music in Lockdown’ is a documentary story and compilation of music, photographs, and video showcasing the creativity and lived experience of our Glasgow, Scotland community in COVID-19 lockdown. How we have adapted our Music Broth musical library support to our community needs; we have made over 100 zero contact sanitised library instrument deliveries/collections during lockdown, and our tutors and learners have adapted to live online tutoring and YouTube tutorials. It shows the positive effects creativity and self-expression through music has had on our community mental health coping with the isolation of lockdown and the stress of a global pandemic. It also premieres the video ‘We Are the Young People of Today’ written and performed by some of our young songwriting workshop participants in lockdown.

Soundz of the South will perform a curation and creation of joy, movement, music in times of COVID. The piece will feature musical iterations of uprisings on the following themes from the perspective of marginalised south Africans:
