In this workshop, we work with movement improvisation and finding what is available to everyone to find the common group language so we can have fun moving together. You do not need any experience - all you need is a body to join!
Sally Davison has been facilitating the DanceAbility method for thirteen years and will be facilitating the workshop. Let's Dance! The workshop will take place via Zoom so you can do it from your home space alone or with others. Please make sure you have some room to move.
DanceAblity Finland ry (DAF) is an organisation dedicated to inclusion through movement and dance. The work is founded on understanding body language as a universal language that transposes hierarchy and stereotypes by honoring every movement as self-expression. DAF was founded in 2008 to promote inclusive dance nationally and internationally. DAF has regular weekly classes, children's classes, and outreach programs in education and pedagogy in institutions to promote equality in recognition that diversity is a key to human interaction, communication, and development.
